LEMON LAW ARBITRATION Most manufacturers offer and Arbitration program for buyers of problematic vehicles.  These arbitration procedures are non-binding.  That is, the consumer can elect to disregard the arbitration decision of he or she is unhappy with it.  Arbitration is not required in California.  Consumers do not have to participate in Arbitration prior to pursuing a lemon law claim against an auto manufacturer.
