CALIFORNIA LEMON LAW
The California Lemon Law was enacted by the California Legislature in order to provide protections to consumers of vehicles/boats/rvs/ and all consumer goods. In the event that a problem or defect occurs with a good while the good is still covered under the warrant period, then the consumer may have remedial action under the lemon law.
The California Lemon Law, abbreviated, CA Lemon Law, did not exist in the 60's when vehilces were more problematic than they are today. However, as the decades pass and vehicles grow more reliable, the manufacturers tend to extend their warrananties for longer spans of time.
